5 tools to get back control for overwhelmed business women

You’d love more time for your selfcare

You wish you could feel less guilty for needing to have time for yourself

You feel like life is passing you by

You keep going until you clear your to do list, until you get to roll out your yoga mat this week or you finally get a day off!

BUT!

Self care isn’t a one and done practice.

It’s not something to do to feel like you’ve done something for yourself.

Self care is practiced DAILY throughout your day.

When life feels out of control use 5 tools to reduce:

*overwhelm

*burn out

*stress

1 Thought management

You are what you think!

If throughout your day you keep coming back to thoughts of fear, worry or doubt your life will keep showing you these.

I’m not saying to ignore them, instead use them as a guide to better prepare for these possible outcomes and take action to prove yourself wrong because they might not actually happen!

Have faith in yourself that you can handle anything that comes your way.

2 Time management

If you don’t manage your time then other people will!

Be protective of your time, especially when you have something booked in for your self care - which you hopefully have every morning and evening as part of your routine (this is where I shine as your coach)

This leads beautifully into the next tool…

3 Boundary management

Sorry I can’t - how often do you say that?

Probably not often enough.

Yes the guilt of saying no is huge but you need to honour your time and energy.

You can’t be available for everyone and not at all for yourself!

4 Integrity

Practice what you preach.

Do you follow the advice you give to a friend?

Start taking your own advice and you’ll be amazed at how this impacts your own wellbeing and belief in yourself.

5 Learning & growth

What else can I learn from this?

This was a massive question I learnt from my 1st mentor 5 years ago and I keep coming back to it.

I used to get stuck in the pattern of ‘I already know this’ but couldn’t figure out why I wasn’t seeing growth in my business or personal life.

Flipping the script and being guided by mentors has had an incredible impact for me.

Which tool can you start using right away?

Which 1 do you feel will be the most challenging?

If you need further help with this, I offer this in my signature wellbeing program The Vibrant Wellbeing Method.
