Get back on track when you fall off the wagon.

Yes I said when not if, because it will happen.

Life will get in the way - you get ill, you have a deadline, you forget your why. There are so many reasons. The key is noticing when it happens, understanding why and then getting back on.

When failure happens such as not doing the habit or task you promised you would, a lot of people give up.

But you’re here reading this, so I know that’s not going to be your go to.

When you do fall off the wagon, honour it happened and get back on.

If you didn’t work out today, make sure you work out tomorrow.

If you had a take out last night, make sure your meals are super healthy and nutritious today.

Life doesn’t need to be 100% perfect or healthy to feel great.

A happy and healthy life comes from balance, but not a 50/50 balance.

Enjoying healthy food and moving your body 60-80% of you day or week will help you achieve a happy balance.

The remaining 20-40% can be where you enjoy a treat, a rest day or a meal out at your favourite restaurant.

Life is to be enjoyed, but it’s more enjoyable when you feel great most of the time,

The best way to do this is to look after your health, this sets the foundation for everything else.

So when you have that bad day or you wake up in a bad mood. Know that it won’t last. Pick yourself up and try again. Create resilience when it comes to your habits, Ask yourself what you can improve or do better to stay on track.

You can only control the controllables so focus on those. You get to control when you get back on the wagon and how good you feel. So keep going.

If you need further help with this, I offer this in my signature wellbeing program The Vibrant Wellbeing Method.
