Who are you? Why identity matters, A Wellbeing Coaches guide

Who are you really?

How you portray yourself can be totally different depending on whether you’re at work, with friends or even family.

Yet who you are in your mind can be a WHOLE different person.

You might not have the same beliefs as your family or coworkers which can feel challenging as you don’t get to choose these people in your life.

This can affect your sense of worth, you don’t feel like you belong. Maybe you’re the ‘black sheep’ or feel rejected.

Add in the influence of social media, the desire to be accepted and the dread of having hateful comments can make a person hide their true self.

So finding friends that understand your thoughts and encourage you is key to living your best life.

Social belonging and status in a social group can significantly elevate your wellbeing when you are part of a community of likeminded individuals.

A coach can create this support for you, a safe space for you to connect to yourself to be seen and heard.
