90 day plan, A Wellbeing Coaches guide

Fail to plan = plan to fail!

Sounds harsh I know, but there was a time when I rarely planned and how I wanted things to go rarely happened!

Some people seem to just go with the flow but having some sort of plan is essential to not letting life get on top of you and creates more ease and a lot LESS stress.

Wellbeing, the full circle of health, wealth and happiness.

Wellbeing means - the state of being comfortable, healthy, or happy. BUT why does it have to be or, why not have ALL 3?

A quote I heard recently that really landed for me is - the highest form of wealth is freedom of time in good health.

To have control over how you spend your time AND being able to enjoy it.

I know I want to arrive at retirement in my best shape so I can continue to enjoy life.

But how can we do this when we have an either or mindset?

Why do we struggle with becoming our best self?

3 year anniversary of being a morning person, a Wellbeing Coaches guide.

3 years ago I had been a morning person for 6 whole weeks!

The business community I’m still part of launched an incredible resource - the 6 week business launch course.

However week 1 was all about health and mindset, it was about focusing on feeling good so you could show up for your business in the best possible way.

For you this might be about showing up for your career, your children, your family - whatever you want to be able to pour into from a place of abundance and overflow.

For years I had been stuck in a mindset of 'I’m not a morning person’ or ‘I could never be a morning person’.

So I had always avoided trying and dismissed anyone who spoke about morning routines.

Having been stuck in 10 months of lockdowns and anxiety, having the opportunity to dive into this 6 week course and strip away my limiting beliefs about being a morning person felt refreshing.

I thought - why not actually give it ago.

Sleep hacks for night owls

As a former night owl and snooze-aholic, I know how it feels when the alarm rings on a Monday morning.

The dread of having to drag yourself out of bed, the battle with the snooze button and the fogginess due to poor sleep.

Quality sleep is vital for a vibrant life and yet it is so easy to overlook AND the pressure to stay up late doesn’t help.

Whether that’s wanting to spend more time with your partner or children or just trying to get on top of the chores.

This eats into your sleep time and impacts your health in more ways then we are aware.

3 things I wish overworked business women knew earlier about prioritising their wellbeing

Tell me I’m not the only one that’s done this…

Believed I had to do every damn thing myself meaning I completely sabotaged my health! The never ending to do list and expectations I put on myself were a recipe for burn out.

Yet I kept pushing because I was passionate about my business.

I told myself everything had to be perfect before another soul could see it! Trying to do it all because I didn’t dare ask for help.
